CHAIN 2020 holds the largest blockchain educational event ever on January 15 in Hong Kong for 10 000 participants.

Around 10 000 participants from the local and global community are expected to join the Hong Kong venue on January 15 for the largest blockchain education event so far CHAIN 2020.

The conference features more than 35 worldwide famous & brightest minds of humanity, including Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Jenny Yang, Founding Board Member of the European Crypto Association Kevin Murcko, founder of NGO “GeoBlockchain”, President of Liberland Vit Edlicka and former Chairman of National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia Papuna Ugrekhelidze.

Elene Grigolia, Representative of National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia and World Bank joint project will talk about the role of international organizations and multinational platforms and their technical assistance which can be used by the governments to implement Blockchain-based public services. Use case of EBRD and World Bank technical assistance in Georgia and their involvement to prepare a high-level report explaining possible uses of DLT in government services delivered by the Ministry of Justice (e.g., notary services, residency, and ID registrations, company registries, land registries, etc.)

Papuna Ugrekhelidze, Former Chairman of the National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia, and Founder of Non-Governmental organization «GeoBlockchain” will make an announcement on newly established first Government Blockchain Lab in Georgia.

Vit Jedlicka, a revolutionary Czech politician, a publicist, and activist who founded the libertarian free republic of Liberland, the world’s first country powered by a blockchain will give a talk about blockchain and its role in driving the development of decentralized autonomous governments

The panel discussions at CHAIN 2020 will focus on the blockchain application for government and public sector, on how cryptocurrencies are enabling financial freedom, on possible implications on future financial crisis or government involvement in launching cryptocurrencies, as well as on general FinTech trends.
